E-Sassin
Eric Hull, better known as E-Sassin, is a defining figure in the L.A. drum & bass scene. Once a drummer in prog rock and jazz fusion bands who forayed briefly into heavy metal, E-Sassin found his sonic style in drum & bass having released on such reputed labels as Moving Shadow and Formation in the UK. In 1996, he founded Sound Sphere Recordings, one of the pioneering West Coast labels to be dedicated exclusively to drum & bass.
