Echo
Reared by "hillbillies and schizophrenic jazz musicians" in Chicago, San Francisco-based DJ/producer Echo first began experimenting with electronic noise as a teenager through tape manipulation, reel-to-reel and dictaphones. Since then Echo has graduated to a more sophisticated home studio setup that he affectionately dubs "The Pod." From this base Echo designs singles for imprints like Thermal and the Green label as well as soundtracks to CD-ROM games.

On the side, Echo collaborates with fellow Phunckateck member UFO! under the moniker Monitor.
