B-Boy 3000
B-Boy 3000 is widely known as the original L.A. Junglist, spinning jungle (under the moniker R.A.W.) in the early days of its conception, circa 1992. With releases on his own imprint, Mictlan Records, he honed his signature sound of over-the-top bass tones, aggressive drums, ragga- and hip-hop-influenced vocals and b-boy chops and breaks.
B-Boy 3000 continues to set the pace for the future of U.S. drum & bass while keeping the old-school jungle feeling alive with his 12" release on Thermal Recordings. His trademark sound is captured in the tune "Warrior," with its choppy b-boy cuts, heavy bass and a dubbed-out ragga feel.
